Question

Question

Is there any way to have a custom login with Laserfiche Cloud?

asked on December 15, 2020

I have a client who would like to have a custom login for their users/clients that would display their logo. They are fine with a "powered by Laserfiche" somewhere on the page but would like their logo on the page. They are concerned that users who click on the link from their webpage to submit a form (can't be a public form) will be confused or concerned about the Laserfiche logos.

Hi Ron,

That is not functionality we currently support for Laserfiche Cloud. Custom branding and URLs are features we have detailed in the backlog, though they are not formally slotted into the roadmap at this time.

Since you mention your client is linking to these forms from their own website, I might suggest they add nearby descriptive text like "Click to launch this form in Laserfiche" to help set end user expectations and address potential confusion or concern up front.

Hi Carlos,

In Laserfiche Cloud, customers can apply branding customization through WebLink/Public Portal and Forms themes. I am not aware of any plans to add custom branding options to either Web Client or the login page. If a customer is using a federated authentication option (AD FS / SAML), they can label the auth button whatever they want (e.g., "$Customer Azure AD").

@████████,

I wanted to check in as a client just asked me if there was a plan to add a custom login to the Public Portal?

Public Portal does not require logging in. We have no plans for a read-only authenticated web client to Laserfiche Cloud.
