So when generating pages for a document that already has Laserfiche pages, the existing pages get removed and replaced with the new ones, at least in the situation that pertains to this post. I'm working with a customer who imports PDFs from a 3rd party software, Laserfiche generates pages for that PDF, and then other documents are merged into this document from the other software as Laserfiche pages.
What happened is that a user tried generating pages on one of these documents, which deleted all the existing pages and only created new pages from the PDF - the pages from the merged documents aren't there anymore, as expected. The entries in the recycle bin for the documents that were merged don't contain pages - it's just the empty document with metadata. I can't seem to find the pages that were deleted when re-generating pages in the recycle bin - is there an easy way to recover those lost pages?
