Web Client-One or more errors occurred opening Word Documents

Hello,

Customer gets the following generic error when trying to open Word Documents in the Web Client (10.4.2.347).

These are straight Word Document (Not OCR'd / No Pages generated).

We set the Web Client config to debug, but no errors were recorded.

I looked in the Event Logs as well with no luck.

Any Pointers Greatly Appreciated,

Hi Jeff,

 

What URL were you using when viewing the Word document? https://localhost/laserfiche or https://FQDN/laserfiche ? If it is the former, please try the URL with the FQDN.

Hello Yu Xi,

Thanks for the reply.

Customer was using Servername\Laserfiche.  They are not using FQDN, but I did have her try and same issue.

Should I open a Support Case?

It could relate to the ssl configuration and the certificate in use. You can open a support case and provide more detailed information to troubleshoot this issue.
