Can you use Workflow or BPA to send a direct share link

This would make a Great and Highly used real world function!

Can this be done or can this feature be added?

They usually have a Generate Web Client URLs and Generate Mobile URLs so when Direct Share comes out next year, there might be  Generate Direct Share URL. Will have to wait for release to see what all it comes with. I imagine generating a link will be as simple as using the ID of the document.

Thanks for your comments Chad, do you mean that Direct share is coming to on-Prem systems sometime next year? 

Also - Direct Share is now available in the Cloud, so can workflow or BPA generate a Direct share URL and send out an email from Cloud?
