We have a customer that has WebDav enabled, with links included within documents that point to another document, which is also in WebDav. They continuously get prompted for authentication when they open the files and it won't accept any form of login/password (or windows authentication), which is causing an issue with linking files between Word and Excel.
They are getting prompted for credentials with any of the following circumstances:
- Open file from Laserfiche with a linked file (also in Laserfiche but linked through WebDAV).
- Open file in Laserfiche from WebDAV mapping with a linked file (also in Laserfiche but linked through WebDAV).
- Open a file in Laserfiche from WebDAV mapping without a linked file.
They do NOT get prompted when opening the document directly (not through the link).
They suspect that it wants credentials whenever it's trying to open a file through WebDav mapping, and it comes up when opening a linked file due to the link itself being to the WebDav location.
Anyone come across a similar situation, or have any ideas/solutions as to what could be causing this, or what could resolve this?
