Workflow Operation Has Timed Out

I feel this is happening more and more often but each time I go to save or run a workflow from the workflow designer on my local pc I get an error that the operation has timed out. 

If you look at the error message it mentions considering increasing the operation timeout, does anyone know how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is your Workflow Service running? Do you have the correct port specified? Is there a firewall between the 2 machines blocking traffic to the port used by the Workflow server?

Yes the service is running, correct port specified, there is no firewall blocking traffic to that port. I can modify and publish workflow without incident most of the time so I know everything is working fine.

We've also experienced this for a few our developers on our team.  Other developers can still use the workflow designer on their PCs but a few of us log directly into the server.

 

Any further word from other customers experiencing this problem?
