Feature Request: Mentioned Notifications in Discussions

We have the ability to 'mention' users in posts in Answers and Discussions now, but there is no specific notification or visual when I get mentioned in a post. It would be nice if there was something to that effect since it would specifically be for me and I would want to make sure I pay attention to that.

I've only ever received an email alert if I have subscribed to the post. It is not specific to be mentioned.

Hmmmm, good point. Although I don't seem to be able to use the @mention thing anymore either (that might be my browser though). Is it still working for you?

You can use it. After you type the @ you have typed the name and then I always have to backspace to get it to come up. It's not the most responsive feature.

It doesn't work at all for me, tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge.

 

Nevermind, I don't use it anyway.

That is good to know. I didn't notice it earlier today when I was mentioned in a comment. I guess I just missed it.

you do get an email alert as well.
