Javascript in LF Cloud 2020.4 is missing in "Modern Forms"?

Hello everyone,

With the release of 2020.4 a modern forms designer has been added.

Some things have been moved around, like the CSS section being moved to a tab under Themes, but I've noticed that the Javascript section is completely missing and I can't find it anywhere I look.

The other curious thing that I've noticed is that inline Javascript, the Javascript within a Custom HTML field is not running when I preview the form.

So has all custom Javascript been removed from Modern Forms designer or am I just missing something?

We are still working on the JavaScript functionality for modern forms. The initial release of the modern form designer allows for custom CSS, and JS will be coming soon.

The team is starting work on it soon, but no definitive release date yet.

Any ETA on the release date on this? It's been coming soon for almost a year. We've been holding on several projects awaiting the release.

Hi Jason, we are aiming to have JS supported in the layout designer by the end of the year. We'll be sending announcements out as soon as a firm date is in place.
