Question

Embedding a LF form in the body of an email - possible??

asked on October 7, 2020

Is it possible to embed a LF form in the body of an email?

We would like our customers to be able to fill out a LF form (it's a survey) in the body of the email we send to them rather than have them click on link that takes them to the form.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks in advance!

This is more a question of if email clients support embedding websites. Most of them do not, because a lot of work goes into designing and standardizing a browser for displaying web content (now web applications) and keeping it up to date with the latest web standards.

By having a major standardized browser like Chrome or Edge, the user can use links from any app and always get a quality browser to display the content/web app.

So in short, you can do it, using an iframe, but it will not work for most and even the ones it does work for might be unstable.
