Trouble setting a date range in Audit Trail, getting dates outside of my range

I am trying to pull reports on the date range between 8/1/2016 and 2/27/2017 and I am getting results from 8/12/2018 forward. How is this possible?

Removing data outside of the range from the database after making changes to the date range for logs loaded is not instant.

But I don't see any data INSIDE of my range, only outside of it, and I just installed Audit Trail so I did not previously have a 2018 range to cleanup.

Auditing was started on October 29th 2015 as seen by the creation date of the first audit database file.

You can see that this file holds all audit data from 10/29/2015 through 2/18/2017 yet none of this data is in the reports.

While the status of loading the date range data into the database is completed.

Then it's probably time to take it through Tech Support so we can look at the logs files.
