How to license Workflow, thought it did not require a license

asked on September 16, 2020 Show version history

I am getting this error when trying to run a workflow

I have never licensed Workflow in all my time working with Laserfiche, but this is a Directory Server Group Client.

So I checked to see if there was any way to create a license for Workflow, but it is not listed in Directory Server.

How do we license workflow?

Hey Chad,

Only time I've ever seen this is when I didn't have a repository registered to monitor yet in the Workflow Configuration Manager. The error cleared up after doing that. Do you have a repository registered?

That was it! They just didn't have the repository set, second time you helped me this week!

Yep, Workflow effectively "inherits" its license by registering a repository on a licensed LFS instance.
