Question

LFF348-MemberNotChild

asked on September 3, 2020 Show version history

Does anyone know what this error might be from? I'm seeing it in our event log after people get a very generic [LFF502-UnexpectedError] upon submitting their form. I have absolutely no idea where to begin tracing it down, but here's the full event log:

The variable   is not a sub-member of variable 10794 [LFF348-MemberNotChild]

Details:
URL: /Forms/Form/Submit
Error: MemberNotChild
Date: 9/3/2020 10:50:55 AM (Central Standard Time)
HTTP Status Code: 400
Business Process ID: 0

Business Process Name:

Stack Trace:
Caught exception: Laserfiche.Forms.CommonUtils.Exceptions.LFFormsException
Message: The variable   is not a sub-member of variable 10794 [LFF348-MemberNotChild]

I might be able to gain some insight on this if I knew how to find where "variable 10794" was located. Any idea how I go about finding that variable ID number?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Dylan,

Which Forms version are you on? There is a bug with same error has been fixed in Forms 10.2.1 update.

As for your question, you can find variable information in database table [cf_bp_dataset].

Hi Ziyan,

We're on 10.2.0.834, which would explain why we're still getting that issue. Where would I go about finding that database table though?

It is in Forms database, which can be found in Forms configuration site
