Date lookup

Hi Team

Is it possible to set lookup on date field.

Scenario:

I have two processes 1 is submitting the fresh transaction with date values and a unique number and in another process i want to lookup the dates with based on that unique number, Is this scenario is possible ?

 

Process 1: Number - 123 & date fill in dd/mm/yyyy format - 28/08/2020

Process 2: User enter this number - 123 and date - 28/08/2020 should be auto fill in date field.

 

Provide the solution if any.

Are you storing the information from the first process in SQL? This would be the easiest way to do it. After from 1 is submitted, a workflow writes the two values to SQL and then process 2 would have a lookup rule to fill in the date when the unique number is entered.

Thanks Justin,

But i have already used this scenario but date values not showing while entering the unique number and exactly this is the issue.

Give me another alternate if you have.
