Hello Everyone,

As some of you know, when using Laserfiche Web Client we can create a new Microsoft Word, Excel documents from withing the document canvas by simply right clicking and choosing the type of document to create.

This feature is not available in Laserfiche Windows Client mainly since the microsoft products can already be installed on the same machine where the Laserfiche windows Client is installed. But my customer is asking if this feature can also be present in the windows Client.

In other words, he wants the user also to be able to create a new word document or excel document within the Laserfiche windows client interface. As far as i know, extra configurations for such option is not available

Are there any extra plug-ins to be added to the windows client to allow this functionality? i would appreciate your answer before i send my final reply.
