We are wanting to rework our QF job SQL lookups when migrating our  QF jobs to a new server.

Is there a best practices document on connecting to SQL for metadata lookups from QF jobs.

Best to use SQL auth, Windows Auth, ODBC auth as logged in user, etc.  There are many ways to config this.

Then there is the issue of when running the job on the console, it will inherit the logged in user if we go with Windows AUTH for the SQL connections.  Then when running as the QFA agent it will run as the user that QFA run's as.

Curious what approaches people are taking on this.
