I am working with a customer who is taking existing electronic documents, which reside on their network drive and then exporting link data from their Work Order management system into .txt to be applied to the e-doc when they move them into LF. (NOTE: They do not utilize QF). The original Work Flow created worked for a period of time, but they are now encountering issues that did not surface during texting of those Work Flows.

Now, the customer is manually copying the electronic files in a folder within the Work Flow that they named "Import Agent."  The files are moving into LF and into their appropriate folders after which the necessary metadata is applied. If metadata does not match, the files stay in a converted folder until they can be addressed manually.

On top of this, for image files, the original file creation date (not the date imported into LF) is blank.  THe customer is seeing the PDFs are not going through the Work Flow even "they have a good link in the file."

I am not sure how to help this customer.  Any help would be appreciated.
