I am trying to find another way to allow users to follow up/ chase an already submitted form. 

We currently already do this by using a gateway to split the form assigning one to the receiving team and a copy to the submitting team, and giving the submitting team the option to enter comments and submit, this will then send a chaser email. This works well however it means the submitting team’s inboxes do have a lot of unassigned tasks, this isn’t so much of an issue as this type of form is usually fully completed within 2-3 days.

The new process we are creating is quite long winded and can go on for weeks/ months so we ideally don't want to use the same logic as above as inboxes will become full of copies.

We have thought about creating a dummy team that holds all the copies but this would make finding the users own submission quite difficult.

Help would be appreciated
