how to find existence of shortcut and shortcut folder using Workflow

I have a workflow that creates Shortcuts and Shortcut Folders.

How do I modify the workflow so that

1) it does not create Shortcut if the Shortcut already exist

2) it does not create Shortcut Folder if the Shortcut Folder already exist.

Attached is a screen print of my workflow.

If it's an option, you could just delete all shortcuts to the original entries.

If that's not an option, I think you would need to search the destination folder for a shortcut with the shortcut name and only add a new one if nothing was found.
