Mapped drives are per user and not accessible to services. You can access a shared drive by UNC path. See Microsoft documentation for recommended configurations for services.

I'm not really sure what you're asking. When a file path is needed for a repository or a volume, you would specify it in UNC format:

\\ComputerName\SharedFolder\Resource

The user specified in the Laserfiche Server's service login would need to have rights to read and write to the target folder.

Hi Miruna,

Thanks for the response, My question, the shared folder and Laserfiche Server service are two different servers that don't have a domain just in a workgroup. How I give the user specified in the Laserfiche Server's service login to have the right to read and write to the target folder?

Thank you

If it's a workgroup, you need to manually create an identical account on the file server, and give rights to that account.
