Updating metadata on saved emails in the Laserfiche Client

Hello,

 

How do I update metadata on fields for emails that are already saved to Laserfiche?

 

So say I save 10 emails to Laserfiche with No Template, then think I want them to have template x, but when i change the emails to template x, it doesn't update the Email Date field with the date received value that you can get when you import the emails.

 

Is there a way to update the field without having to re-import the email?

Hi Rob,

 

I think you'll be able to do this with an SDK activity in workflow, which retrieves the information from the email header. We've done something similar before for one of our other customers.

 

Give me a shout directly and we'll look into it.
