The Windows application event log also has similar errors:

The following information was included with the event:

An error occurred:
An error occurred in repository 'VFCLF8' on server 'ptlfcheabcdefg0.p-tdbfg.com': General database error. [9008]    at AuditDBService.RepositoryValidator.Validate(LaserficheInfo& info, DBMSType type)
   at AuditDBService.Service1.GetImporter(ConfigInfo info)
   at AuditDBService.Service1.ImportTimerElapsed(Object o)
This was caused by:
General database error. [9008]    at Laserfiche.RepositoryAccess.Session.SendLogInRequest(String idnRepName, HttpCredential credentials)
   at Laserfiche.RepositoryAccess.Session.LoginToServer(RepositoryRegistration repository, HttpCredential credentials)
   at AuditDBService.LfConn.LFSO.Login(LaserficheInfo lfInfo)

Could you please advise what might be causing this? The SQL server has been restarted and is up and running.

Thanks,

Sherly

This happens when the Laserfiche Server can't connect to its database. There should be more information in the event log on the Laserfiche Server. And you can check in SQL Management Studio to make sure that the specific database is operational (sometimes SQL may take a bit to double-check a database after a service restart).
