Saving a Fillable PDF in LF Client

Hi Everyone,

 

Is there a way to update a fillable PDF form that's saved into LF?

 

I can see that you're able to have a filled PDF and save it to LF as you would any other document, but is there a way to update this fillable PDF and save the updated version to LF without needing to reimport the newly saved document?

 

Check in/out doesn't seem effective so I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this or any ideas.

Hi Bryan,

 

Unfortunately, you will need to open the PDF in an application that can perform those field modifications in order to make changes to the fields themselves.

 

I believe what Shiraj is referring to is the ability to then use that pdf to add content to the fields, not to update the fields themselves.

Hello Bryan,

yes you can do it via Workflow using "Fill Out PDF Form" .
