Good afternoon,

By means of a WorkFlow we are inserting information in a document word, when the indicative action to convert a PDF is finished.

the inconvenience that appears is the information and the images that are inserted are being left with many spaces and with images on top of each other, we carry out verification in the word document with the inserted information and it is perfectly found, the error is when the pdf is generated

Does anyone know how this problem could be solved?

Hi Oscar,

From my understanding, Laserfiche uses a 3rd party API to convert documents. With this in mind, there is little adjustment that can be made to the conversion process. Something like a less common font would not be converted correctly if the API doesn't recognize it from the word document.

In a past project, I have had to write a custom workflow activity to export the word document to a network location, have another program convert the pdf, and then have import agent bring the pdf back into Laserfiche.

I will let Laserfiche weigh in here if this has been updated or is an unexpected error.
