Question

unspecified error when storing documents using Quickfields

asked on June 26, 2020

I have a quickfields session that runs, pulling name, social, year and some other data off W2 and 1095-C that are running beautifully but when I try to store the documents, i get two different errors. Initially it said "The object must have its connection set before it can be used". I reset my connection to the repository and now I just get "Unspecified Error".

Thoughts?

Verify that the user in your connection profile has read/write to the template fields and the volume.

Thanks! The user and connection have the appropriate permissions. I found that in trying to bring in the files after running the session, it's creating the folder in the repository, bringing in a new document with the metadata I pulled from the session but with not text/image:

no image sounds like a problem with volume security

Where in the cloud would I find anything related to volume security - we just have one default volume

ah... did not realize this was cloud.  check the connection to make sure that it is set to use SSL.

For others having this issue...

I had this issue today, but everywhere I could see in the session had SSL enabled.  I opened the Quick Field session with notepad and parsing the data was able to find a 'UseSSL=False' option.  I changed the text from False to True, saved it, and on opening the session again was able to store the documents.
