OCR crash

asked on June 26, 2020 Show version history

Good afternoon,

I tried to perform OCR without image enhancement on Server 2019 and Server 2017 (nothing but client and OCR installed) and Laserfiche client crashes on both. Below is the error i see in event viewer. I tried selecting 10-20 documents as well as few hundred and same issue comes up. I can OCR from my workstation just fine.

I tried downgrading to 10.4.0.311 and it seems to work fine.. at least for now.

Try downgrading it to 10.4.0.311 that worked for me. I do want to note that I had a lot of inconsistencies with all OCR versions, sometimes it would pick up data incorrectly and running it again would be just fine. We see these inconsistencies when trying to OCR ssn's that have dashes and certain percentage would add spaces between numbers and dashes... next run it would remove spaces.
