I have a forms task assigned to a team.One of the team member assigns the task to themselves but not completed yet.  If the task is not approved in 7 days, a timer kicks off to send a reminder email and reassigns the task back to the team.

 

Is there a way to find out if the task has been grabbed by a team member and assign the task to same person after the timer kicks off?

This is currently not supported, we are working on a email reminder feature for open task that can send the email to the currently assigned users.

Task reminder feature has been supported since Forms 10.4.5(https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1014202/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-forms-10-4-5), you can configure task reminder to send a reminder email to a team manager after the task is created for certain days if the task is not completed yet.  Wait certain days after the task is assigned to one user is still not supported, so you may need to wait for more time if the task is first assigned to a team(this is the time task is created) then wait for some time for a team member to assign it to themselves.
