Forms- What is the max number of variables supported in a single form?

Hello,

Trying to find out if there is a max number for variables in a form.

Customer full ask is below:

I’m trying to track down a variable that doesn’t seem to be available from with the Forms -> Layouts -> Variables. It’s an address variable that is part of a new account form. I thought it had to do with a variable being part of a collection, but I deleted it from there and created a new variable. Is there a limit to the amount of variables a form can have?

It appears that there is a limit of 500 variables for Cloud Laserfiche Business Processes (Forms).

There is no enforced limit, but loading and submission performance can start to decrease as you get into the couple hundreds of fields. As for the question above, if the address field was inside a collection, it will appear in the list under CollectionName \ AddressFieldName. If the field was then deleted out the collection and added outside, it would be a new variable under just AddressFieldName2. Both should appear in the variables pane if they weren't manually deleted.
