Is it possible to utilize the Quick Fields Scanning with a Laserfiche Directory Server account or a SAML account?

You can use directory server accounts, but not SAML accounts yet.

  • How do I login to Quick Fields Scanning with a Laserfiche Directory Account? I launched it but it's indicating that I am not logged in.
  • Also, when I attempt to add users to Quick Fields Management Console to give access to the Document Class, it only shows Windows accounts. Any ideas how access can be granted to Laserfiche Directory Accounts?

Those are 2 completely separate issues.

Quick Fields Scanning supports LFDS users for logging in to the repository. The Laserfiche Server will proxy the connection to LFDS for login.

The second issue has nothing to do with Quick Fields Scanning. Quick Fields Server only supports Windows authentication for securing access to the administration console and sessions.
