Mobile 10.4.2 form information missing

Greetings,

We recently upgraded to RIO 10.4.2 and added mobile server to our existing products.

Mobile is configured with a repository, Forms Server and Directory Server.

When I start mobile on my Android device, it logs in fine and I see our current repository.

When I click on the hamburger menu option I only see our repository options (All Files, Starred, Recent, Mobile Uploads, Maps, Recycle bin) and Offline Copies options (Tasks, Start Process, Documents) but no forms options at all.

If I open a browser on my android device I can log in and see all options for Forms.

I have checked logs on the forms server and see no errors so I am not sure why this is not working.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Within the Mobile Configuration there a separate area for making sure Forms itself is configured. Have you checked that the configuration for Forms has been completed?

Hi Blake,

Yes we have the forms server URL added and I have tried it with Single Sign-on enabled and disabled.

Form Server settings is allowing all authentication types.

When logging in at the bottom of the screen you should see something like the following with a change button you can click:

After click on the change button make sure that the correct Forms server is selected.

Thanks Blake. Getting closer.

I only see 'Repository' at the bottom, no form server at all. I clicked change and surprise 'Form Server' is set to None. I change it to my form server and then a new screen pops up asking me to login. I key in my username\password and then it comes up with an error about the user name being blank. If I hit OK it goes back to beginning. If I hit 'Cancel' I am able to key in the username password again and I am in. Unfortunately I now get a popup saying 'Error Unexpected error' and I have to click 'OK' multiple times to have it disappear. If I click on hamburger icon, I do see my forms stuff but if I click on any of them I get the 'unexpected error' message again.

If I close the mobile app and restart, the form server has disappeared again from the change option.

Further to this I thought maybe the 'Single sign-on' being set for the forms server was the issue so I unchecked it. I tried again, selected the forms server and it worked! I had to put in my credentials twice but then I could see the form and repository info. Unfortunately when I closed the app and started it again it did not remember the forms server setting and when I selected it again and logged in the first time I receive the message 'The Username or password is incorrect.' and it will not continue.
