Our default browser for the user community is IE.  I have written a document upload form for a specific user community that needs a high level of standardization in their document names.  The PDF image preview works fine in Chrome or Firefox, but the entire <embed  class="previewImage"...> element is missing in IE and Edge.  Is there a missing add-on or setting change that needs to take place to enable the preview?
