Forms 10.4 Reports with drop down fields showing all selections available when downloading in excel format

I have a dropdown field with 12 different options for the user to choose from. When i run a  report on the process, and download to excel i see all the options in the dropdown listed in the excel with 0 assigned to those coulmns.

 

Is there a way for me to filter only the selected option to show up in the excel report?

 

It shows the selected option when i view in laserfiche report screen but not in the excel format.

Just determined when you download the reports locally the checkbox "Include choice details" is checked by default which causes the additional choices to show up as columns in the reports. When unchecked the reports look cleaner.

Is it possible to update the default setting for Include Details Choice to off?

From my experience in the past few months on working with reports, when i click the download option i need to manually turn off/on the include choice details option.

I tried manuevering to see if there is a general settings for me to turn it off... i did not come across any option which could enable me to do so.
