MS Office "File List" Files

asked on May 18, 2020

Hey all,

I've got .htm files that require supporting files to be present in a sub-folder when the .htm is opened.  The files have the names

filelist.xml

tabstrip.htm

sheet001.htm

stylesheet.css

How is this handled in Laserfiche or is this not addressed?

What are you trying to do? I don't believe you can open an html file that's stored inside Laserfiche and have it actually work as a web page.

Thanks for your reply Jim.  The issue is that it is multiple files required to view the one web page.  We tried saving as "Single File Web Page" in Word which converts it to a single .mht file, but when you click it in the repository it opens it in a browser window.  So, we did it in 2 steps, converted it to a single .mht file (via Word "Save As"), then converted that .mht to a .pdf (also via Word "Save As").  And, of course, Laserfiche can open the .pdf in its own viewer, problem solved.  I was just wondering if anybody else had attempted to store the multi-file web pages in the repository and found a way to display them in the Laserfiche web client with no conversions.
