Connect Cloud to On Premise

Laserfiche Cloud Forms Workflow

Hi,

 

We have a cloud system and an on premise system.  Is it possible for a Cloud Form to connect to an On Premise WF instance to kick off a process?  The reason for this is that our on-premise system connects to a number of SQL databases which are used in certain WFs which are not available in our Cloud system.

This can be done entirely with the cloud system. You can use a workflow as part of process automation in the cloud to run a remote agent query connected to your local databases. This allows the cloud workflow to run a query on a local machine with access to the SQL database and pass information back to the workflow.

That sounds promising - I'll look into that.  Is it possible to also connect to an on-premise instance of LF using the same method?

Possibly depending on what exactly you are trying to do with your on-premises hosted Laserfiche. We are working on enhancing the cloud + self-hosted (on-premises) capabilities and will be able to support more and more things over the course of 2020.
