Question

AD FS Single Sign On

asked on May 4, 2020

I have a client who is trying to enable SSO on Laserfiche Cloud via AD FS.

AD FS is requesting a metafile file from Laserfiche Cloud in order to provide a certificate.  When setting up SSO for Google or other services, that metadata file is provided in the set up but that does not seem to be the case when setting up AD FS SSO for Laserfiche Cloud.  Any ideas on how to obtain that metadata file?

Hi Thomas,

Laserfiche Cloud does not provide a metadata file at this time. Per Configuring Single Sign-On with Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS), please select the "Enter data about the relying party manually" option in AD FS and proceed following the instructions from there.

Steps 17 - 21 detail how to export the AD FS signing certificate.

If you're encountering an issue not covered by the above, please provide screenshots of the AD FS interface in question and a description of which part of the Laserfiche Cloud/AD FS setup it is blocking.

Cheers,
