Question

Web Client create new document

asked on May 4, 2020

Hello,

We are recently converting to the Web Client from the desktop version. In the desktop version, we can right click on pages and select 'Create New Document'. Is this feature available in Web Client?

Thanks!

Hi Tiffany, yes you can! It is actually built into the "Move" function you mentioned--when you get that dialog, just select the folder you want the new document to be created in. As long as you don't select an existing document, it'll prompt you to confirm that you want to create a new file, then give you a chance to name it:

You can always select "Don't ask me again" if you don't want the confirmation each time.

I may have asked that incorrectly. In the desktop client, you can right click on certain pages and create a new document that captures those pages. Can you do that in the Web Client? I can see where you can move them to a document, but not create a new document. Thanks!
