Is there a way to automatically convert PDFs in a Laserfiche folder to TIFFs without losing the metadata?

Any update please? If I use quick fields, I am unable to extract the fields from document.

In the Desktop Client.  Tasks - Generate Laserfiche Pages gives you an image of a PDF maintaining the metadata

Much like David mentioned, if docs are already in the repository, you can convert.  First, make sure there is a TIFF file by using "Generate Pages" which is available in both the windows and web client.  If you don't want to save the PDF, then in the windows client, use "Delete Electronic Files" in Tasks tab or in the web client, under More Actions -> Advanced -> Manage Electronic File. . .you can delete it there.

If using QF to pull PDFs from the Laserfiche repository, convert them to tiff and save the metadata, you need to use the Laserfiche capture engine and use the right settings.  If you use the wizard, most of the settings you need are on the "Document Content" section of the LF capture engine.  They are checkboxes next to "retrieve fields" and "generate images for each page" and "keep PDF after using it to generate Laserfiche pages".  This just captures the field/template data, so make sure you are applying the correct template later in the wizard and the fields will auto-fill on scan/processing.
