Windows level access for Laserfiche Audit Trail configuration

asked on April 24, 2020

Hi...According to https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/Laserfiche/10/en-us/administration/Default.htm#../Subsystems/LFAdmin/Content/Configuring_Audit_Reporting.htm%3FTocPath%3DLaserfiche%2520Administration%2520Guide%7CLaserfiche%2520Audit%2520Trail%7CLaserfiche%2520Audit%2520Trail%2520Reporting%7CConfiguring%2520Audit%2520Trail%2520Reporting%7C_____0 a user must be a local admin on the server to perform Laserfiche Audit Trail configuration.

Is there a way to access the Audit Trail configuration with an account that has less access than local admin?

Getting a resource from the appropriate team to log on with an account with admin access is a long process, and our team is not likely to be given an account that has admin access. The reason we would like this is to configure the audit trail to load data for a particular month - we have a default value but sometimes we are asked to load data for previous months. Please advise. Thanks, Sherly

By default, the local admin group is used, but this is configurable. In the web.config file you should see a setting for "AdministratorGroup" - you can replace this with the security identifier of another Windows group.
