I have an application that won't start because port 8000 is taken.  I used TCPView to see what was taking the port.  It turned out that it was ntoskrnl.exe that was taking the port. Sadly that means it is some service that was logged in as local system was using the port. So, I decided to start shutting down non-Microsoft services and when I got to the Laserfiche Quick Fields Agent that caused port 8000 to stop.  Port 8092 is what the Quick Fields Agent is set to use, however it seems to be using port 8000 as well.   I tried changing ports to other ports like port 7000.  When I did that Quick Fields Agent opened with port 7000 and ntoskrnl.exe opened with port 8000.  As long as Quick Fields Agent is stopped, port 8000 is stopped. I have attached a video showing that when stopping Quick Fields Agent port 8000 and 8092 both clear out and when I start it both ports show use again in TCPView.
