Question

Forms - Preview photo in table - Increase size

asked on April 5, 2020

Hello,

In one of our forms, we have a table where user uploads photos taken with tablet. At the end we generate a report with this table (with some column hidden). We would like to maximise the size of the photo on this table.

So far, here are the settings we have:

-Table width : 100%

- Column percent for the photo: 79%

- Custome size for the photo : 540px (if I put more, photo does not display entirely).

When I inspect my page, I see that the table.files is bigger than the img.previewimg and there is a blank space on the right.

Is there a way to gain some space on the right of the page ?

Thanks for any help with that

Veronique

Under the Forms Settings for the Form, It is possible to change the width of the Form from the default 800px, as well as change the Saved format from Portrait to Landscape.

It is common, to choose to make a copy of your form and change it to use in your Save to Repository task which differs from what is used in the processing of the form to get a document in the repository that has the look you are going for

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your reply.

I tried to change the saved page orientation to lanscape, some photos were "cut", with top on one page and bottom on the next one which is not ideal.

Customer is quite happy with the A4 format portrait. I have little the width at 900px, as well at the one of the preview of the uploaded photo, it does help. But still have the large white space on the right.

The space on the right side is the reserved space of the delete file button when fill the form.  Although there is no delete button on read-only form, the space is still reserved so the image size look the same when fill form and view submitted form.
