Question

count of documents scanned per user /labor management tools

asked on March 26, 2020

I have a few people scanning daily.  I am looking for a way to get a count of documents scanned/filed per user.

possibly a report of documents scanned in a time period per user ?  is there a report to count document types scanned in a date/time range ?

I appreciate any suggestions or ideas.

Thank you much!   BE SAFE --such crazy times we all are going through at this time.

It seems that Audit Trail Reporting could also be used and filtered as needed.

There is not a out of box report that will break this down by users.

You can use an Advanced search such as this below to identify the newly created documents by user in a location (Folder) in the Repository. Once you get back your search results, the number of returns will show in the header

I think one question would be how often are you looking for some type of a report.  Would you be looking for something daily?  Weekly?  Only as needed?

As long as your documents set the "entry owner" as the person who scanned, you could set up a workflow to run, search the repository, and use a for each loop to sort documents found by person in an email sent at the end of the workflow.
