We have noticed some recycle entry event occurring by looking at the audit trail, which uses the 'ADMIN' account to perform. As far as we are concern, no user has used the ADMIN account to recycle entry on those particular time mentioned in the audit log. We do have the auto-purge setting for the recycle bin enabled. Does anyone know when Laserfiche auto-purge the recycle bin, does it use the 'ADMIN' account to perform this action? Thanks.

Are you sure you're not using the admin account in connection profiles in background applications liek Workflow or Import Agent. Audit Trail should has columns that indicate the application and the machine where the events occurred.
Purge is separate from delete, delete sends it to the recycle bin. Purge permanently deletes the entry. In Admin Console, however, this becomes confusing. An entry recycled activity in audit trail, corresponds to deleting an entry in the repository. Purging an entry from the recycle bin will show up as an entry deleted in Audit trail. If you have Admin recycling entries, check to see if any workflows are deleting documents. Otherwise, someone with the admin credentials is deleting entries. The automatic purge will show up as entries deleted not recycled.
