Forms ignoring the "wait for workflow to complete" option

Hello,

 

We have a form that is triggering a workflow.  That process works as expected.  The problem is that if we select the "Wait for the workflow to finish before proceeding" as yes, is still treats it as if it were set to no.  We have tried setting it multiple times turning off and back on to no avail.  Not sure if this is BP specific, as this client only has 1 form that calls a workflow.

We have encountered the reverse before, where a client sets it to wait to finish before proceeding and it never gets the go-ahead.  That is normally config or DNS related, but we've never encountered a false positive to move forward.

Has anyone seen this before?  Their Forms install is v10.3.1.635

Are you able to reproduce it if you copy the process? If so, you can open a support case with the downloaded business process and exported workflow.

Good Morning,

Yes, I am able to reproduce this even after copying the forms BP to a new BP, republishing and re-running it.  I will open a ticket.

For continuity, I will post back the resolution, if we discover one while troubleshooting with support.
