Question

Display full text content of a field if field-width is not sufficient

asked on March 10, 2020 Show version history

Greetings,

I have a table with a lot of fields which makes it difficult to show the full text content in the field since the fields are stacked up by each other making their widths small. The form filling stage is not the problem but the review stage. When the form moves to the review stage, the fields do not display the full content of each field which is needed by the review team to make decisions. I need assistance on how to display the full text content of the fields. The table contains fields like drop-downs, single lines, currency, signature and multi-lines, etc...

One alternate is to use a collection instead of a table so that you can have a "row" that might contain two or three lines of fields.

Using a collection means that you can have any arbitrary layout within each row. You can have multiple rows of fields, or you could even show and hide fields based on importance.

Can you post a screenshot of your form in the various states so that we can visually see what you are trying to address?
