Question

How to line up check boxes for aesthetics and ease of reading -

asked on March 9, 2020

I would like for my "group" of check boxes to line up vertically - is there a way to make this happen?  This is what I am seeing now:

So, for example I would like the Career change button and the Relocation/transfer etc... buttons to be one right above the other.  I know that the length of the identifier will make for a difference in space between each line and that doesn't concern me as much.

Any ideas?

In the field options for the check box, it looks like you have it set to side-to-side which puts them as close together as possible. Set the checkboxes to 3 columns and it will line up like you'd like.

NEVER MIND!  I'm a doofus.  When I previewed the form it is fine.  Arghh... sorry!

Thank you so much!!

The started out as a wonderful idea except for my longer responses the check box moves above the statement..... any ideas for that?

I added some CSS to fix this on my form. If you change the checkbox style to inline instead of inline-block, it formats correctly. The line below will target all radio button and checkbox choices and format them correctly. Do a quick once over on your form to make sure there are no other unintended affects.

Paste the line below in the CSS section

.choice label.form-option-label {display: inline;}
