Question

Pictures in Laserfiche

asked on March 3, 2020

Hello all,

I am new to Laserfiche and am looking at a couple of the workflows that are in place as well as the process that the users go through when doing their work.

The question relates to images and how to best handle them.  Currently the pictures are being dropped into LF from group folders with large height and width in pixels, something like 4065x3157 or something.  When one of the other users tries to download them as PDF's for doing Bates numbering the PDF comes out with a height and width of like 42 inches by 31.5 inches.

I am looking for a way that I can get these to a reasonable size without quality loss.

Any help would be much appreciated.

We ended up just having the users change how they were doing their process.

Hi DJ

If you reprocessed them through QF's, you could use a resize activity to scale or change the DPI of the file
