Quick fields move entry before checking it in

We've been encountering a situation where Quick Fields is attempting to complete a move entry activity before checking the entry in.  It throws a 9014 error (entry locked) in the logs and results in Quick Fields re-creating the documents because it still meets starting conditions.

 

Has anyone encountered this before and what was the resolution?

Hi Blia,

Quick Fields doesn't have a concept of activities or starting conditions. Are you possibly referring to Workflow? 

Neither Quick Fields nor Workflow automatically check out or check in documents. So if you're seeing this issue it's likely due to users having checked out the documents manually.

Hi Tessa,

 

The documents are in a folder path that QF looks for to pick up from and it must have a specific tag assigned.  Maybe I am not wording it correctly but because these documents are failing at the move entry activity, it is still sitting in that folder path with the tag assigned.

 

Here's a screenshot of audited activities that shows QF had checked in an entry after it attempted to move an entry.  The login name shows as quickfields.  You'll notice that the Move Entry type occured before checking in.  It is in chronological order based on event ID numbers.
