call workflow from vb.net

Hello I am new to Laserfiche and have been assigned a project to pass a value from vb.net into a workflow  Has anyone done this and can point me in the right direction?

Dana,

If you have access to a Laserfiche installation there are some Workflow SDK documents installed with Workflow that should help.  The Workflow SDK files should be located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Laserfiche\Laserfiche Workflow 10\SDK folder.  In particular I believe you will want to review the 'Getting started with the Workflow SDK (VB).pdf' resource.

In addition you can access Workflow through its web service.  If you have access to the support site you can review that documentation here; https://support.laserfiche.com/resources/2732/workflow-9-0-consuming-the-workflow-web-service.  If you don't have access to the support site I can post the document here.
