Is there any City's that use the Laserfiche for your personnel files and if so how do you go about it when the department head need to review something in the files?

Thanks,

Elisha,

We have many HR reps that are assigned to support their particular departments so If a manager or department head needed to see something beyond what they already have access to see from our HR system (JD Edwards) or their Employee evaluations (Halogen) then they would contact the HR rep direct and discuss their needs for those additional documents stored in Laserfiche. In a City our size the HR personal records are locked down to HR, there would be no easy way to allow Department heads\supervisors\managers to only see their specific department employee files in Laserfiche not to mention only those documents relative to what they should see. Maybe if you're a smaller organization it could be done. Then there is all the Laserfiche licensing that would be required and no easy way to manage the security of it all when employees\managers move about.

We are a county that uses Laserfiche to archive personnel documents.  The HR Manager has security to view all HR documents including personnel.
