We have Laserfiche 10.4.2 and LFDS 10.4.3.246 installed on one server with Web Client 10.4.2.214 installed on another. How do I install STS on our web server to utilize Windows authentication? I don't see an option for it within the RIO installation application. To make matters worse army regulations doesn't allow web browsers to be installed on servers. What config file do we edit to configure it once it's installed?

STS should already be installed on the LFDS machine, I believe it's a default part of that installation. Are you saying that you want it on the web client machine instead? I'm not sure there's a benefit to that.

I've been trying to follow the white paper for configuring Kerberos to use windows authentication for the Web Client. Are you saying STS on the web server is not required?

The STS is an option in the LFDS installer. To install it by itself on the WebHost, start the LFDS installer and choose just the WebSTS portion to be installed.

If you're using the same AD account to run the services on both servers you shouldn't need to configure STS on your web server.
