Question

Using docusign in two different repositories

asked on February 3, 2020

We have configured Laserfiche with Docusign and it works well. The certificates of completion and the signed documents arrive in the right repository.

We want to use Docusign in another repositoru on the same server.

As the return repository is written in the config.xml in the folder Services\DocuSignConnectService\Config,

how can we indicate a second repository for the return of the documents.

Thanks for your help

To solve the problem, just duplicate the webapp.
Each webapp points to a repository.
Now on the side of Docusign, you have to create 2 connectors.
Each connector is associated with the webapp.

This is an interesting solution and seemed only working when repository users have different DocuSign account. What if the same DocuSign user sending documents from different repository, and on DocuSign side it can't tell which URL to publish aka. let Laserfiche connector to get them back.   Am I correct on this?

We have been investigating something similar but only have certain staff save to the repository.  The solution we are deciding on is switching our DocuSign account to "Enterprise Pro".  Within this you have the ability to create departments and have those specific departments either point to a repository or not.  I don't know if it support multiple repositories but it might be something worth looking into.
